Adam Iatesta

Girls/Boys Varsity Surfing
Coach Iatesta was born and raised here on the Jersey Shore. He started swimming and surfing at a young age thanks to the encouragement of his parents. He participated in the Avon Swim Team and Junior Lifeguard Programs for many years, then became a lifeguard in Avon, and eventually worked his way up to the rank of captain. Along the way, his love for the ocean and the sport of surfing continued to grow. It is his passion, and he is very grateful to have had the opportunity to help found the St. Rose High School Surf Team. He hopes that he can encourage the student athletes at St. Rose in the same way that I was, and pass on the appreciation of the sport to the next generation.
